As our Finance Lead, you'll own the financial backbone of a fast-scaling robotics company. Reporting to our Head of Global Operations, you'll lead FP&A across our global entities and build the models, reporting and financial controls to enable strategic decisions.
This is a hands-on, high-ownership individual contributor role where you will drive monthly close, cash-flow forecasting, audits, and more!
Key Responsibilities:
Lead global financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company strategic goals
Establish and maintain strong global financial controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards to optimize performance and mitigate risks
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support decision-making processes
Analyze financial data, including profit and cost analyses, and create reports for leadership in support of improvements or strategic changes
Establish and maintain end-to-end procurement processes with accountability for 3rd party vendor/ tool selection, vendor onboarding, invoice payment, vendor management and vendor offboarding
Oversee the global finance and accounting practices and processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with global accounting standards
Implement scalable processes and tools for budget management and reporting
Complete global payroll, tax and compliance reporting
Lead global financial audits from preparation to completion
Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and tools to support rapid company growth.
Requirements
6+ years in FP&A, strategic finance or audit, ideally with high-growth startup or scale-up exposure.
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; a professional qualification (e.g. Swiss Fachausweis, ACCA, CPA or CFA) is a plus.
Strong financial modelling and analysis skills. You can build driver-based models from scratch and are highly proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
A solid grasp of Swiss accounting, tax and payroll requirements, and comfort operating across multiple entities and currencies.
A builder's mindset. You've set up or improved finance processes and systems, and you thrive with ambiguity and ownership in a fast-moving environment.
Excellent communication. You can translate financial concepts for non-finance stakeholders and present to leadership and investors.
