Description

About Flexion:

At Flexion, we're building the intelligence layer powering the next generation of humanoid robots. Our mission is to accelerate the transition from fragile prototypes to real-world humanoid deployment. We are founded by leading scientists in robot reinforcement learning (ex-Nvidia, ex-ETH Zürich) and backed by leading international VC firms. Within a few months we’ve gone from our first line of code to deploying real humanoid capabilities with our partners. Learn more about Flexion at flexion.ai

The Role:

As our Product & Commercial Operations Intern you'll work directly with the Product Lead across customer discovery, partnership operations, and proposal preparation. You'll be exposed to real customer conversations, live contract processes, and strategic decisions about which opportunities to pursue. The work is operational and detail-oriented, but the context is strategic - this is a front-row seat to how an early-stage robotics company brings a deeply technical product to market.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare briefing documents and research ahead of discovery calls with prospective customers and partners

  • Maintain and organize pipeline tracking - deal status, contacts, notes, and next steps

  • Support proposal assembly for PoCs by pulling together technical specs, scope descriptions, and commercial terms from existing templates and past engagements

  • Draft follow-up communications and coordinate scheduling with external stakeholders

  • Assist with organizing contract documents, tracking redline versions, and maintaining status overviews during negotiation cycles

  • Compile and format contract exhibits, milestone descriptions, and acceptance criteria based on input from the Product Lead and engineering

  • Research prospective customers and competitors; summarize findings into concise internal briefs

  • Help structure and maintain internal documentation - partnership summaries, process templates, decision logs

  • Identify opportunities to create repeatable templates and lightweight processes where we're currently operating ad hoc

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in engineering, business, or a related field - ideally comfortable at the intersection of technology and business

  • Strong written communication; you'll be drafting documents that go to external partners, not just internal notes

  • Organized and detail-oriented; contract tracking and proposal assembly require precision

  • Comfortable with ambiguity - we don't have a playbook, you'll help us build one

  • Genuine curiosity about robotics, AI, or industrial technology; you don't need to be an expert but you should want to understand what our product does and why it matters

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package

  • A front-row seat at one of Europe’s most ambitious robotics companies

  • An energetic, collaborative team with a bias for action
